reading for Children is important

Remember "Reading is FUNdamental"?  As a child they tried to teach me that reading was important, I preferred the boob tube, Saturday morning cartoons were the best. My parents tried to get me to read the classics, Moby Dick, House of Seven gables, etc... I tried reading those types of books but I found them boring...

Well as it turns out, the things I did read, the items of choice at the time, are classics....well, in one Genre anyway.

WEIRD WAR was by far my favorite, Combat and horror, what could be better?

So I guess tonight, I'll lean back in my recliner in front of the fireplace, light up a pipe and read...some Classic Literature.
