What a Day for a Ride

The sun was shining this morning, the air was crisp and clear, what a day for a bike. I threw on my Skunk, a jacket and some gloves, jumped on Charlene and hit the road.

There is a Club ride tomorrow but I will be painting and working on the house tomorrow, so I made the best I could of today. Truth be known, while I was out on the bike I was suppose to be caulking upstairs, bringing some items to store to the basement, doing the laundry, the dishes, mopping the floor, vacuuming the Living room, .... you see why I took the bike for a ride.

This time of year the sights and sounds are different, for one thing, few to no pedestrians, when the colder weather gets here they all scurry for cover. Living in a Tourist destination area, Aquarium, Seaport, and two Casinos, means that during the off season you don't have to worry about those things either.

You can just ride, the roads are a lot emptier. Of course there are those things you miss when you ride in the colder time of the year, green, yes, I miss green, the trees are gray, the ground is brown, no green.

So, in honor of the warmer time of the year, I finger I will throw you some warm weather pictures, that time of the year when the trees have leaves, the grass is green, the birds are singing, the bugs are biting and the boobies come out of hibernation to gather some sun.

Is it me, or does this bike look familiar?
