Back in 2010 I pulled around 4 months of Steward Duty at the Club. This is how it happened, The Steward at the time departed, Bubba took over, in doing so he asked if I would help out in the Kitchen. Bub was a great guy, just not a kitchen guy, he ran the kitchen finance books, I had the money, petty cash type box, received the money from those eating the meals, Did the shopping for the meals, the cooking for the meals and the cleaning up after the meals. Some how, I think I got the brunt of the job as the "helper". Not a problem though, but I will honestly say I was glad when it was over. Walking around BJ's looking for "specific" items is a waste of time, places like that have bulk, and bulk is what you get. That's not a bad thing but you usually don't find what you are looking for, it's a matter of what they have not what you want. So I would also spend Wednesday nights or Thursday afternoons shopping other places like Stop and Shop, Walmart, Big Y, and Shop Rite. Not really all that enjoyable when you should actually be at work.
Anyway at the time I started another blog besides the one I worked at the time www.beardinthewind.blogspot.com the other blog was for food, sort of an online recipe book, it was named "What does NLMC eat":

I had forgotten all about it but it just popped up when I went to sign in to this blog, so if you are interested there is some good stuff there, and truthfully, if I can cook something and have people live through it, so can you.
klay
