Dried Apricots are Great, just don't eat the entire bag full at one time.

Dried Apricots are good for you, one of the best fruits you can eat in as far as nutritional benefits.
The apricot is in the Rose family and related to the peach, (2nd cousin 3 times removed, or was it first cousins that slept together?)

Dried apricots are high in potassium and iron, and because they are dried, those and vitamin C become highly concentrated. Apricots also have calcium, thiamine and phosphorus. They also are a good source for Antioxidant Carotenoids and other powerful antioxidant Phyonutrients (Who comes up with these names, they sound like they are straight out of a 1950's Science Fiction B movie). Apricots are heavy carriers of vitamin A which aids in eyesight and supports your immune system.

Dried Apricots also work as an Alkaline to reduce acid and if eaten before a meal aid in digestion. And here's something you may not know, the apricot, in a solution of water and honey, relieves thirst and lowers fevers.

Apricots have non-heme iron which aids in the prevention of anemia.

Is there anything this fruit can't do? the oil from the leaves, when applied to your skin, may relieve sunburn, eczema, and scabies. Apricot flesh, when applied to your skin can reduce acne. Because of the huge quantity of nutrients contained in apricots they are used to fight blood poisoning, bronchitis, asthma and tuberculosis.  eating apricots reduces your chances of  cancer of the larynx, esophagus, pharynx and lungs.

So, not only are they tasty but they are very good for you, and 3 of them are only 50 calories.

Now as with anything else you may eat, volume restrictions should be followed, you see apricots, besides all those good things listed above, also carry pectin and cellulose and these function as a mild laxative and eating too many may make those visits to the restroom a little more often, a little more urgent, and a little longer lasting.

It may look like this when you go in...

and this, by the time you're ready to leave.
