Alco diesels, Steamtown? Yes Steamtown USA

Steamtown USA is a Museum operated by the Parks Service, located in Scranton Pennsylvania. (Yes it does seem a little strange to be on a train ride hauled by a Canadian Pacific Steam engine and have a Ranger giving the tour wearing the Smokey the Bear uniform. (Most railroad sites have people dressed as Conductors or engineers).

The diesels belong to the Genesee Valley Transportation Corp, specifically the Delaware Lackawanna RR which is based in Scranton, although other engines can oft be found in town from other roads owned by GVT. As in the case with the Depew, Lancaster and Western unit below.

The unit below is showing off it's heritage,  Lehigh Valley, Delaware and Hudson, Indiana HighRail, and currently Delaware Lackawanna.
