Wiggling something in front of a cat

In case you have never had a cat, it is good to know that a cat will go after movement. 

Run a laser dot across the floor and the cat will pursue it, a fast movement with your hand may result in having a thrashing cat attached to your arm. 

Just dangle a string in front of a cat and watch how crazy they get, they will jump at it, swipe..at....it...
