Happy Cash, merry Dollars...

Here it is the day "before" Thanksgiving, and I'm watching commercials for New Years, New Years? Christmas isn't here yet, Thanksgiving isn't here.

I remember when Thanksgiving was a National Holiday, you couldn't buy gasoline, nothing was open. It was a day to give thanks for all we have here and spend the day with friends and family. Now, just like everything else in this country it has been warped by the goal of profit. Black Friday Sales have even changed, Major stores now have Black Friday sales on Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving eve.  Make the money. People who would love to have a paid day off, now have to work so corporate society can line their pockets even more.

It wasn't bad enough that Christmas has lost it's true reason of existence to the quest for cash. You know damned well Corporate America wouldn't give a damn about that chubby elf if he didn't promote sales, and who the heck was Jesus?

Pretty soon well be giving Independence Day gifts and cards.

What the hell, How about warping Memorial Day as well, we can have gift giving to remember the fallen.  "Sorry you lost your brother, who died defending this nation, "Here...have a video game", maybe we could give a first person shooter game, something you can order with your missing family members name entered as the leading combatant.

Anything else we can warp to make money?

I would vent more, but Walmart has the X-Box One sale tomorrow, so I have to go to the grocery store now and get all the food home and cooked so I can microwave it tomorrow and be at the store door early.
