Weather must be getting colder

Have you noticed, lots of critters have gone migratory.

Most of the birds which hang out here in the Summer have gone, they have picked up those southerly winds and headed to warmer climes. Remember when Geese, Canadian Geese, would fly over on their way from Canada and Maine to the south, now they just kind of stay here all year, some head south, others have decided it is too damned far to fly and just hang out here in the snow.

A lot of critters have gone into hibernation, reptiles and amphibians mainly the fuzzy ones are still fattening up, I think they're waiting till after the Thanksgiving meal.

Bugs, bugs are gone, sure we still have spiders which decide this time of year it's better to be in your house than outside, but most of the bugs are gone. One of the last to leave was the redheaded snowbird beetle.

I'm told, this type of bug heads south every year, deciding to travel on land rather than fly. When it gets to Florida it vomits out it's innards, which lie on the beach till late spring, before it snaps them up again and heads north.
