Did you know....

The first High School Football game was played in 1886, Buckeley High in New London vs Norwich Free Academy.

In the current Flag of the United States of America, each star represents a "Specific" State. Connecticut is top row, 5th, from the left.

The three most Famous Revolutionary War buildings in the United States are Fanueil Hall Boston, Independence Hall Philadelphia, and The War Office, Lebanon Connecticut. Governour Trumbull presided over 1100 meetings of the Council in the War Office. The Lebanon Office is reported to have directed more manpower, food, munitions and money to the Revolutionary War than anywhere else in the Thirteen original Colonies.

All this Local History make you feel good?  Proud of your area?
Why, you didn't have anything to do with it.
