Too Stupid to Play

The Lead up:

I have had an epiphany, It came to me last night at around 11pm. As you know I either have to have my washing machine repaired or replaced. So with that forthcoming expense in mind, I decided to go to the Twin Rivers Casino. I believe there may have been a severe judgement issue going on somewhere. So after calling two Club members to see if they would be willing to attend, (both having previous obligations), I headed off to the Great State of Rhode Island and the Providence Plantations. One hour later I arrived and parked. I walked in, took $200.00 out of the ATM and walked into High limits Slots. I had a strategy, a plan as it was, based on my last visit where I had the same plan and failed to execute it.

The Plan:

The plan was to go right to the $5.00 slot machines, insert a $100 bill and see what happens. The nice thing about higher limit slots is that even a minor hit with a two coin play can add up, if for instance, you were to win 10 coins it's ten times $5 or $10 rather than ten times  $.01. The down side is with a 2 coin bet, you go through $100 rather quickly, where as if you are making a two coin bet on a .01, .02, or .05 cent machine, well you can't, most machines are anywhere from 20 to 100 lines. But even a hundred lines at .01 each gives you 100 tries. Anyyyy way, I walked in and found the $5 slots were taken, so I grudgingly threw the $100 bill into a dollar machine, I played 9 lines at 3 coins per line, or $27 the first push earned me absolutely nothing, the next $27 got me 4 of 5 American Eagle emblems, which was a win of $1000, I continued with the dollar machine then played some of the lower family machines.

The Epiphany:

At 11:00pm I decided to leave, I came to this conclusion for two reasons, first, I had given back all of the $1000 (What would that be, 2 Washing machines?), on top of that I left another $1200.00 just because of stupidity. (Three more machines?) So I have realized a simple fact, I am Too Stupid to Play. If you are not smart enough to leave when you win, and you are a complete and utter ass and leave even more money behind, you probably shouldn't be in a Casino.
