Last night Reuben asked, "Don't you ride Charlene any more?"

My answer was, "Well, Charlene is in the shed, I have to unlock it, back her out, and re lock it, Jenny sits next to the door".

Well, I thought about it this morning and decided to take Jenny, So I unlocked the shed and backed her out...OH MY GOD.

Since 2010 I have been on Harley Cruisers, first the Street Glide, now the Electra Glide Ultra Limited, (they really should do something about the length of that name). Anyway, I had become used to throwing them around and backing them up (even up hill). For the last month roughly I have been on the Super Glide, rest your elbow on the right hand back and walk backwards. Low center of gravity, no addition luggage storage, no lowers, no fairing,  in other words light. I grabbed Charlene by the bars and pushed back with my legs...nothing, she just sat there. I had forgotten how heavy those bikes are and the dust and sand on the shed floor was no help.

I think that bike needs a diet.
