Must be nice to have things that last

There is a memorial in a cemetery to a 6 year old girl, it has been there since the 1800's, a girl in a glass box. I find the old work much better than today's laser etched, out of the box, work we do today.

We had a really beautiful piece of Cemetery Art, It survived storms and years sitting in the cemetery behind Backus in Norwich. A bronze statue of a mourning woman crying over a flat grave stone.
It lasted until someone figured their greed was more important than a piece of Art that had lasted ages. The culprits were caught when they tried to turn in the cut up bronze as scrap. luckily the scrap dealer recognized the piece and notified the authorities.

The good news is, the City of Norwich had the public works restore the work.
