Those that don't have

Illinois is one of the most anti-gun law hosting states in the Union, and yet Chicago has more shootings than any other city. Makes me wonder if the politicians can't see whats in front of them. The old saying,"If it's illegal to own a gun, and only the criminals will have them",pretty much shows itself as a true statement. Maybe they should look at that state and think about it, maybe, just maybe, if law abiding citizens had guns, the criminals wouldn't be so quick to "whip theirs out". Of course it will take a while for this philosophy to take hold, first there will have to be a couple dozen of the perps getting shot by people protecting them selves. But sooner or later, the ones left might just catch on, for me I would hope later, the less there are, the less that have to learn.
