Speaking of Zardoz...

Zardoz is one of those movies that occasionally finds it way into a Saturday afternoon line up. It is a rather strange movie with psychedelic effects, a giant stone head flying around, and has something to do with the Wizard of Oz...wiZARD of OZ, although for the life of me I don't remember that much sex, force fields or men on horses with red diapers and leather boots in the Wizard of Oz. The Star of the Movie was Sir Sean Connery, (and I do find it amazing that anyone who dressed like this would be knighted, but then I am not studied in UK Royalty or dress codes).

The funny thing is, when it's on, I usually watch it and I have no real understanding as to why. I also had no idea it had such a following.

The movie has the type of ending you expected from movies in the early 70's, (1974 to be exact). In that they had the main characters just rot away.

The one thing that I really find rather amusing in the next photo...

You made red bandoleers, you found toy guns, you dyed a box of depends red,, you actually made or found somewhere to buy a Zardoz helmet...But neither of you could get a pair of tall leather boots?

Sir Connery would not be impressed.
