He tells the cashier and security officer that he is going to play what he brought, then he wants to have himself barred (it's what is referred to as a Voluntary Exclusion) from the place. He then proceeds to play....
I myself, love Casinos, I am...a Slot Slut. There is nothing like playing along and having that machine "bang in" a Jackpot, believe me, they make noise when they hit, Hell they make noise when they hit nothing, but that "Bong" of a Jackpot emblem slamming in on the first wheel, then the second "Bong" of the second wheel, then when that Third one hits with a "Bong" there is often a lot of music playing. I remember hitting a small jackpot ($1100.00) at Foxwoods one night after being up for about 26 hours. I had a lack of sleep headache that was pounding and the machine was playing "We're in the Money" real loud, and kept playing it until the slot attendant showed up. A little note here, back then, downstairs in smokeless, slot attendants were few and far between. This was the night I found out that by pressing the "change" button the music turned off. Of course back then, the machines had a change button, because you could actually put change in them. Nowadays you put in bills or a receipt from another machine.
Anyway....a Jackpot slamming in is a great feeling, sort of an elation...
I have had quite a few jackpots over the years, none of them life changing, I have hit them on Penny, 2 cent, nickle, quarter, dollar, and $25 machines. Never on a $5 or $10 machine, never on a 50 cent machine. I have hit a single bar row on a hundred dollar machine for 10 credits, that is $1000.00 and by the way it's not a jackpot.
I have never had a check photo taken...
Of course I have never hit anything near $403,000 or the four Million Two hundred thousand either.
Most of the time the machines look more like this when I play
In case you do not know, those are not wins, and that's how my trip to Rhode Island Saturday night, Sunday morning. The most I was up was $700.00, unfortunately I was already down when that hit.
So when I had myself barred on early Sunday morning I had already left a sizable donation to the State of Rhode Island
