I have been on motorcycles for quite a while, my first bike i bought off a classmate in Junior High, (there were no "Middle" schools then). i forget what I paid for it, actually i forget quite a lot of things nowadays, but I guess that comes with age, or...not caring.
Anyway, in all that time, all those miles, on and off road, I have been hit with a lot of things, mainly bugs. I have had wasps in my shirt, stinging the hell out of me until I could crush it. I have had moths, beetles, June bugs (which by the way, are not only out in June), hornets, flies, etc etc, the list goes on and on. I have had them bean off my head, my chest, my arms and legs. I have been hit in the neck, the cheeks, (the ones on my face, the other pair is hard to hit on a motorcycle). I have had bugs in my mouth and I have watched them coming in from a distance and splattering across my eyeglasses, (which by the way, makes it tough to see through, and bug juice doesn't just wash off). Until tonight I thought I had been hit everywhere possible, but I was wrong. I have been hit in the nose many times but, tonight, was the first time I have ever been hit...in the nose. I mean impacting inside and squishing upwards. The first thing I want to say is, yes, it hurts. The second thing is, it doesn't clean out all that well while you are riding and I am not sure what type of but it was, but it didn't smell good smashed up inside.
