It's Here, It's on, Now, Here's the thing

It mounts really simple, unscrew the air cleaner screw, place the new chrome bezel over the air cleaner, using new screw tighten bezel in place. Peel tape stripes off pre attached butyl tape, stick painted cover over bezel.

Easy peezy right?

Now a question...with no access to the air cleaner bolt how do you change the air filter. Well...they thought of that also. They supply a 2 foot piece of fishing line. You take the line, wrap the string around both your index fingers, slip string behind decorative plate and "saw" the existing butyl tape off freeing the painted picture. Then when you want it back on, they supplied a few stripes of new tape to replace the old.

It's a shame they couldn't have come up with a locked in bolt that could be unscrewed by turning the entire bezel, but I'm sure if they had, the price for the plate would have tripled.

Oh yeah...a red skinned gator picture would have been really cool to go with the seat, but after days of searching gator pictures on line, I have determined that...there is no such thing as a red skinned alligator. With all the time they spend floating around like a log, you would think maybe a little sunburn.
