(Splinter)
More to the point, have you ever been to Collins Diner? This is the Diner at 44 and 7 which has items like Fluffenutter Sandwiches on the menu. It also has, under sandwiches, Chefs choice. You order that item and the Chef will make you what he wants to make you. A unique idea for the decision challenged amoungst us.
But, that's not why I post this.
Here's a bit of information about said Diner...
The Diner, was built in New Jersey and shipped to Canaan.
The Diner opened on August 11, 1941
The owner tries to keep that place as original as possible.
The only things which aren't original are, the coffee maker, the soda machine, and himself.
Oh yeah, that New Jersey built Connecticut diner has one other thing unusual about it, the counter top.
The Marble counter top was rescued from a dilapidated vacant saloon, in Texas.
