We hates Black

Back when the Penn Central Railroad rolled into existence, they did so with Black engines and white logos, Rail Fans hated it. They grumbled about the color, they complained about the color, they cried about the color. 

Over on the Beloved Pennsylvania Railroad, freight engines were "Brunswick Green" that is 1 gallon of green paint with evry 55 gallons of black. It was a off black BLACK.

Today one of the most loved railroads by rail fans is the Norfolk Southern.
