I want an American Motorcycle...like these





What do you mean not American?  How much more Harley can you get?

Actually these bikes are Rikuo Motorcycles, during the depression, because Harley was next to bankrupt and England had placed high tariffs on U.S. imports Harley Davidson turned to Asia for a market. Harley sold the rights to the blue prints, parts and tools for their bikes. In 1931 Dabbittoson Harley Motorcycle Co.LTD was formed and established and built a Domestic version of the Road King.

So the next time someone tells you Harley isn't a Harley because the bikes have Japanese parts, you tell them, "Why not, they've been making the parts since '29.

The trade agreement meant Harley would be here today.
