Nations...and National Animals

The National Animal of the United States of America is the Bald Eagle.

The national Animal of France is the Gallic Rooster.

Germany has the Black Eagle, Finland the Brown Bear.

Spain's National Animal is the Bull, Russia the Bear.

England has the Lion. (I guess they live just south of London on the Serengeti) Hey, at least there "are" Lions.

Ireland couldn't make up their minds, The country had three animals it loved so all three are the National Animals, The Stag, The Irish Wolfhound and the Lapwig. (A small bird)

Columbia celebrates the Andean Condor, Brazil, the Jaguar.

Japan has the Kiji and the Ibis, but nothing "officially" listed.

China has the Panda, Scotland the Unicorn.

Not really much chance of sighting one of those unless you are coming out of a Pub.

Or on a beach it appears.
