Not a good weekend for area motorcyclists

The Reason to Ride may have been a good thing for area motorcyclists on Sunday, but Saturday proved to be a Blacker day.

 In Vernon CT. Police are investigating a motorcycle accident in which a 60 year old motorcyclist lost control of his motorcycle on Bolton Road, the motorcyclist was reported dead on the scene. 

In New London CT, a Motorcyclist crashed on Colman Street near Cedar Grove Avenue, he was transported to L&M Hospital but was pronounced dead at 7:58pm

Police are investigating both incidents.
