POT



 In the 1960's and early Seventies these were predominant...


As the 1970's rolled along the design changed, while the half round pots were still in use, the square pot was taking hold, these are the style I used to make and use. (they stacked better) 


As the 80's and 90's came along many were switching to metal pots. 



Truthfully, I heart will always belong to the half round. 

They're more...aesthetically pleasing and remind me of Summers spent in Jonesport Maine.

Romantics look at these and get a warm feeling inside for old Americana. They want them on their porch or as a coffee table. What these people don't have are the olfactory memories of being around the real thing. The smell of old wood, sea air, dead seaweed, fish, jelly fish, spidercrabs, and other sea creatures rotting away in the summer sun. 

Memories of Childhood flood back to me.
