HBO Documentaries - A Good Job: Stories of the FDNY

I have to say this is one of the best Documentaries I have seen on F-D-N-Y.  I suggest everyone watch this and see what it is like in the words of the Firefighters.

You will see that the fall out and deaths from 9-1-1 are not over yet, The department is now dealing with the sicknesses received from being at Ground Zero and breathing in all that was hanging in the air, the casualty list continues to grow.

I would also like to Thank the Members of the F.D.N.Y..

During the 1970s, 80's and 90's friends and I took fire photos in Boston, Providence, New Haven, and the five boroughs of New York City. In all those places the firefighters were friendly, but New York City was the one Fire Department that invited us into their lives. As brother firefighters they allowed us into their houses, gave us a place to sleep, a place to ride and most important, an invitation into their kitchens to share a meal, listen to stories, share experiences, ask questions and joke around.

Thank you for the honor of stepping into and sharing a part of your lives.
