An Oxford Mass weekend

I hear tell that the Sunday ride is to Cholesterol County Massachusetts, "Carl's Oxford Diner" to be exact. Now, if the ride runs straight, true and (may I say boringly) straight up 395 to Oxford Mass, it is roughly a 58 mile ride for breakfast. I guess that would be OK, but what I am trying to figure out is how to make the Lunch portion of the ride, the 38 mile miles between Oxford and Palmer last longer than the 40 minutes it will probably take.

If you have ever been to Carl's then you know what the plates of food will look like.
Ham eggs and home fries

Bacon eggs and home fries

Since the Club will be arriving there around noon, figure an hour for everyone to get in and get fed, we won't be leaving there till a little afternoon. We will need to get that food to settle and process before arriving at Lunch.

What say?
Dessert in Palmer is what?
Jack Danial's bread pudding?
