Picture this

You are going into a sweeper, a car coming the other way crosses the line by about a foot, you can't lean any lower, you grab the brakes.... and the bike does NOT stand up.  The bike comes to a complete stop, and it is still leaning over for the turn, sure you may drop the bike but you didn't get killed in an impact.

What do you mean, the bike didn't stand up, it's physics? By braking you change the lateral load and the bike has to stand up and lose the corner!!!

Well, it appears there are some German gentlemen who do not believe in following the law. These people have decided to change the law by devising a new technology of stabilization. The company is Bosch and right now there are two Motorcycle companies trying it out. BMW and KTM  are each producing a model with this system.
