More and more people are playing it, thousands...world wide, and I believe it should have come out ten years ago. The game is GPS based, you locate Pokeman characters through your phones GPS. These are not real characters, they aren't really there, your phone finds them and tracks them as targets. Even a couple of people I work with are playing it.
The best part of it is that the game is helping to thin out the herd. Two men jumped over a fence to catch a Pokeman and didn't know there was a cliff on the other side. people are stepping and running in front of cars. people are driving their cars into trees, people and buildings. It's all wonderful. Here's one of my favorite tidbits, Churches and historical sites are abundant with Pokemans. The idea of the game is to get people out there walking around looking for the creatures instead of sitting around the house like a log. excersise and learning, that was the main idea.
There is a Church that was closed and reopened as a Halfway house, Pokeman Go doesn't know this, GPS still has it listed as a church, So people are walking there and walking around looking. Old people and kids walking around looking. The Church is open, but not as a church but a halfway house for sex offenders and pedophiles. So what better place for a bunch of kids and adults to hang out.
