The BMW carbuncle

I had an older BMW customer come in today, he saw the BMW I3
parked out front:

He asked "What the hell is that?"

I told him it was the electric I3

He said, "It looks like a Carbuncle on an old man's ass".

Nope, I don't really see the resemblance.
