Polaris Strike out

Bombardier, owner of Polaris, has met with defeat at the hands of Connecticut Legislation. Polaris petitioned to have their new three wheeler, the "Slingshot" listed as a Motorcycle.  The State of Connecticut views any vehicle which has a enclosed driver area or an enclosed engine area as a Car, The Slingshot has both. The State DMV sent the manufacturer a letter stating it will not allow the vehicle to be listed as a motorcycle, and the vehicle must meet more stringent safety standards.
