Mille Miglia

The Mille Miglia was an open road endurance race which took place in Italy between 1927 to 1957.

Mille Miglia re-enacted. Not actually a reenactment, the particpants aren't lined up to re-create an original race, instead they re-create the races by racing. Racing original types of cars...

And don't be confused, when they are racing, these beautiful creations from the past are Racing. 

Not always with wonderful results

Some people say these vehicles should be preserved and not run, but then, if you do that, what are you saving them as, a piece of art. On the road, racing, they are showing generations of people what these creations were built for, not to sit quite in some corner on display, they were designed to be driven, to race, to lift a crowd in excitement with not only their looks but their speed and sound.

How can you experience something for what it was if it isn't allowed to be it.
