The above bike is one of those, non ride-able bikes, built for show. The most distance it would get would be maybe a mile in a straight line on a smooth road. The Alligator seat comes from Route 66, is is a Spring seat, like on a tractor. Not really made for comfort, but with the hinge mount and springs you can cruise around on it, bouncy roads make for fun throttle work. That seat, bolted hard to the frame? I give you a bike that people cruise down main street on, turn around and cruise back, before parking it in front of a bar and stand next to it to be cool. It is a shame though, nice looking bike. Rear sprocket probably doesn't give you much speed though, but I guess with that seat you wouldn't want to be hanging on at speed on a highway. |
