I was going to install a charge connection on Jenny, then found that the lead wires were 3 inches long off the fuse holder. This may be alright if it were a car battery, but for a bike there is a little more routing involved.
Since I was removing the Gerbing Heated Gear wire,(who needs heated gear when you have no windshield and your hands are up where your eyes are), it does no good.
So a little cutting, soldering, and shrink tubing...
And you have a lead that actually reaches both terminals.
A little shrink wrap over each solder joint and another over that for rigidity, ready to go.
