Barnacles and Tidal Pools

You can find all types of creatures and life forms in Tidal pools, like crabs, shrimp, periwinkles, starfish, urchins, oysters, and mussels.

The barnacle which grows along the northeastern shore of the United States is a small creature which coats rocks, boats, buoys and anything else that sits in the water. They are wonderful if yuou have bare feet and slip on a rock. Your feet slide across them, smashing them to bits, as their shell slices your feet to shreds and fills them with shell fragments and barnacle meat slime.

Barnacles also attach to things that do move

In places like Spain, barnacles grow a bit larger...

And I hear... Are Pretty Darn tasty
