8th Annual Babies heart Run 2016 8.21.16

Not a bad turn out for the club, and a pretty good showing all around. The ride left on time at noon behind Police escort ran up route one to Allyn Street in Mystic, then Cowhill road to 184, Colonel Ledyard Highway to Ledyard then down 117 to Center Groton. I believe the ride then went 184 to Buddington road and Drozdyk Drive. I cannot say for certain because myself and a few other bikes were parked up on Colonel Ledyard on the stretch before the High School due to a Motorcycle going down.

The ride ended at Christophers in Groton for food, music and drinks.

The couple on the bike made out with road rash, some lacerations and a rather good bump on the head.

The Ledyard Police were surprised about the amount of Motorcycles participating in the Ride, they were told there would be a couple hundred and one officer said, it was a couple hundred, and another couple hundred, then a few hundred more and then more.
