Let me explain what it means to work here on a Saturday

The Saturday Hours are from 8AM to 2PM, originally it was from eight to four, but lack of business caused a time drop and we shortened the day to two. Because we proved there wasn't enough business to be open till two, we managed to get the day shortened to four hours, eight till noon. Then, one Saturday afternoon, a customer came in, he complained that we should be opened longer. Now an intelligent Sales Department Manager, a verbally articulate Sales Manager would have explained to the customer that we used to be open later but business didn't demand it, and to be open so that the "one" customer who comes in, in the afternoon about once a month was not good business practice. having to pay two technicians, a Service writer and a parts person for all those hours just in case one person needs something is not an viable economic choice. That is what a Sales manager who can talk to a customer politely would have explained, BUT, one of those wasn't working, so instead that manager pushed the powers that be to re-extend the hours,(All so he wouldn't have any customer issues).

So now, we come in, open the doors at eight, and sit, and watch YouTube, and surf the net, and watch YouTube, and walk around, and get coffee, and sit, and watch YouTube, then we close at two.

So now you have the story. So far today I have had one customer at the counter, one phone call and one tech picking up parts, it is now 10:45...and I have until two.

This is how it looks,

Start the day....
An Hour later..

Three hours later....

after being here. staring at the walls for most of the day, the clock starts to tease you...
This will last for at least one more hour.
