Two simple tips...

If you are going to lock your car in a public area, a street, or a parking lot, close the sunroof. Locking a car and leaving the roof open...not bright.  (Oh wait, that as me on Tuesday).

If you are done riding for the day, shut off the bikes battery switch. This way you don't have to use the run switch, just the battery switch, which shuts off everything. Hitting the kill button and forgetting the power switch....means the bike will be confined to a charger for a bit.
