The Private War of Major Benson (1955)

In the movie The Private War of Major Benson. Charlton Heston plays a Combat officer assigned to a school. he has to deal with Nuns, a teacher and children.

One of my favorite scenes is when the little kid runs away and Heston catches up with him. The kid is scared to death and he mentions something about Heston's size... Heston, not seeing himself as imposing asks the kid a question, "How tall do you think I am?"  The camera angle switches to the floor and uses a long lens so you get the idea you are seeing him through the kids eyes, and the kid says, "I don't know...12 feet?"

Later on Hollywood would make a remake... "Major Payne"
