Right about now...

The Sailfest Fireworks are over,

New London and Groton are like an ants nest after someone kicks it open,
Hundreds of critters trying to go somewhere and getting nowhere,
like a Mass Exodus.

State and Local Police are trying to keep things moving and dealing with those instances where two or more people saw a hole in the traffic and dove into to fill the same void.

Others are sitting quietly where they were, waiting for the madness to end before they begin their homeward trek.

Myself, I am sitting comfortably in my underwear, drinking a Yuengling in the comfort of my own house as I type this.
