Remember these?

In the 1960's there was a company, who's name I do not know, that sold frozen sandwich steaks. The steaks were round and made of (normal for that time) real meat. It was thin sliced frozen "minute steaks". Unlike today's choice of Steak um's which is reconstituted processed meat paste shaped in a rectangle.

Why doe's it seem that every food that was good and real available to you up to the 70's is gone and replaced by chemicals and slime.

The sandwich steaks then looked like these, you pealed the frozen meat steaks apart to cook them.
Real meat with, yes, real fat and gristle.

Fry it up it a dab of lard, grille up a roll with real butter, a couple onion slices and melt a bit o' cheese over it.
