 What are Trichomes

Derived from the Greek (Supposedly there must be a really important guy in Greece who knows a lot) the work trikhoma means "growth of hair".

Both cannabinoids and terpenes are created in resin glands located on the main fan leaves and flowers of late stage cannabis plants called trichomes. These trichomes are almost microscopic mushroom like protrusions from the fan leaves, buds and stalk. 

trichiomes are essentially a stalk with a head and this is where the creation of clear cannabinoids like THC happen
