Vegans?

I just don't get it.

As I mentioned the other day I tried my first, and probably last veggie burger, which I complained about it being called a burger.
(I still find it an insult to the Beef Industry). What I found strange wasn't so much the veggie "Patty", it was corn, black beans and other unidentifiable substances, but it came with a side dish.

Now I know I am getting the above mentioned combination of squished together and shaped into a disc substances on a roll. With avocado, lettuce, onions, and tomato.

But then the waitress asked what dressing I wanted on my salad. Really? A salad sandwich comes with a salad?

Being a non-vegan, non-vegetarian, down right devoted carnivore, I could picture the salad it should come with. Salami, Ham, Turkey, Hot Capicola, and Roast Beef, with chopped onions, pepperoncini, a couples chopped cheeses and perhaps a oil and vinegar dressing.  If I'm having salad as a main course, and there is a side dish, it had better be made up of something that walked around and made noise. I'll even allow them to go California with it and add raisins or cranberries. (I can pick those out).

Perhaps a little pasta included.
