I was leading a group of motorcycles down route 20 on Sunday, we were coming down through Huntington. As we were approaching an the intersection with route 112 (a tee intersection) there was a motorcycle and a three wheeler sitting at the stop sign on 112. There was one car running up hill, as the car passed the intersection, the motorcyclist looked at us, gunned it and cut out in front. Now he has a group of motorcycles on his ass, and his buddy still waiting on route 112. He finally realized he had no friend with him, pulled into a dirt turn off to allow his bud to catch up.
So, there is always something to watch out for, don't discount the guy sitting on his bike on a side street from doing something stupid, he may be just as bad as a dude in a cage.
Also, if you are riding with someone, remember, you have to make sure there is time and room enough for both of you to make a move before plunging out into traffic.
The other thing to remember, when you pull out in front of a group of motorcyclists, the only ones that can see you are those in front, the rest have to react to the brake lights.
