I miss simple things

Back before people would try to poison each other, and before anyone ever thought of a Sneeze barrier, food service was easier. Everywhere you went, restaurants, diners, etc, had condiment caddys. A three or four container rack usually filled with mustard, ketchup, pickles, etc. So, when you got a burger, a real cooked for you burger with meat juices and some size to them, you could load them up.

Before the fast food joints took over the Interstate rest areas, in this area they were Howard Johnsons...before that...it was cafeteria style.

My favorite thing as a kid, stale cafeteria Lime jello, you know, it had that rubbery outer layer.

In the Summer there was Kool Aid Cool Pops

And at home, a packet of cool aid, a few dixie cups and some sticks and it was jello pop time...

The Tupperware kicked in a little technology , no need for sticks

But my favorite thing of all time...
Graham Cracker vanilla and Chocolate pudding dessert..
