If it isn't a car and isn't a motorcycle...what is it.

The State of Connecticut, which recently denied Bombardier of selling their new three wheeler as a motorcycle because it has an enclosed engine and enclosed passenger area is looking into new terminology.

Even though the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) has declared enclosed 3 wheelers as motorcycles, CT does not. Motorcycles require less safety measures included in the vehicles and less taxes than cars. Connecticut is looking to implement a new Vehicular Registration category, classifying these "tween" vehicles as "Autocycles"
