Schools today are Stupid

One of my employees had to show his son reality vs what the school taught. His son argued with him that salt water doesn't freeze, that's what they taught him in school. He and his son mixed some salt water and set the bottle out over night, guess what happened, it froze.

We complain about winter but it is not as drastic as it once was here, my mother remembers sleighs on the Mystic Ct river. When my Grandparents were young sleighs used to deliver goods across Fishers Island Sound to Fishers Island from Mystic, that's 7.19 miles.  Rather a long distance for a horse dragging a sleigh to tread water.

Salt water takes longer to freeze than non salt water, but it freezes.
