I can honestly say that this weekend was not what I would rate as one of my favorites. First, I thought I had to work Saturday and I found out I didn't. Now while this was a good thing to find out, it also meant I had a day off with no plans, so it turned out to be pretty much a waste of a day.I did take Charlene out of the shed, dragging her backwards through 6" of mud and ice, and dropped her at work where I picked up Jenny. I figured that trying to maneuver 700lbs with a low center of gravity is a lot easier than dragging 900 awkward pounds.
The rest of Saturday consisted of getting in the mail, and staring at the TV.
The day was pretty much ruined by the previous day's mail, but I did get to Dunkin to meet Vincent, and while he was heading towards the Vernon area, I broke off in Norwich and headed east. The weather was fantastic as far as the temperature went, hovering around 60 degrees (15.56c). Unfortunately the roads were wet, so any vehicle in front of you meant you were riding in spray...salt spray. Then Mystic decided to add fog to the mix, my beard was stiff will salt.
The day pretty much ended with a ride to The Slipper Lady to pick up my Jacket, then to dinner and a movie with a friend before heading home again.
