After 100 years of Republican rule

The Town of Groton Ct, with it's first Democrat Town Council Majority in three decades has announced they're upset the town doesn't have a Home Depot.

I preferred the town before there was a such thing as Home Depot, Back then you had Cottrell Lumber Company, Mystic Lumber Company, UBS and Grossman's. You walked in, got what you needed and left. There was no walking around in a store for a half hour trying to find the things you need. If you didn't know, you asked, They knew. 

Back then you could drive in, pick out 10 12x4s and not spend the time going through half a rack looking for straight boards.
