Clear the windshield, slam the pedal to the floor, halfway down the driveway crank the wheel and tap the brake, 180 degrees later slam first and floor it. OK, that's the part of this time a year I enjoy, after that it's depart the driveway and you find wet roads. Route 184 was just wet, but for some reason rain makes people drive R-E-A-L S--L--O--W. 184, I-95, Frontage road, 25mph on Frontage road, behind some schmuck with "TOM CAT" lettered across the back of his car. Up the ramp to Colman you choose the opposite lane. The light turns green, you go and as you clear the second light, looking in the mirror you see "Tom Cat" hasn't even finished his run across the bridge to the first light, a line of cars behind him, and you believe you can hear them cussing.
If they are afraid to drive in it...maybe they should stay home.
It's December 9th and we have at least three and a half more months of people too afraid to drive.
I can hardly wait.
Just be glad you're not driving in NYC where half the drivers are foreigners who have not idea what black ice is or how to drive in snow and still think they can corner like Valentino Rossi only to slam broadside into YOUR parked car and the take off because they don't have a license, registration or insurance!
