Connecticut Toll Booths

Connecticut is talking about placing Tolls back on the Interstate, I actually rather miss them, When we had tolls before I had a job which required a lot of Interstate driving and for me they worked as check points. Sort of a measure of ones progress, instead of cruising along non stop and realizing you had been day dreaming and having no idea where you are, back then you knew if you were between Madison and Branford, Orange and Stratford. I am not crazy about the money spending but there are a few reasons I liked them.

They offered occasional news items also, remember Stratford in 1983.....ka boom.
