The Government is at it again

The 9th District court (California) has declared that unless you have a specific need to carry a gun you shouldn't have one. This ruling overturned that courts 2014 decision. Because of the difference in the two declarations, all gun permits have been put on hold. This is just another attempt at removing the 2nd Amendment right from American Citizens. This hold on permits can last until the issue moves on to a higher court. Another way of putting a hold on your rights.

The funniest thing about all these rulings is that there is One State in this Union that has a No Gun law, that is Illinois. Illinois, the land of the President of the United States, has made it impossible for the average citizen to defend himself from criminals. the funny part about this is the the one place in the entire country with the highest Gun violence related crimes. The place with the most shootings and gun murders is Chicago, the Capital of that State.

It always makes me wonder how, with specific evidence in front of them, that gun controls place criminals in control, is over looked.

The simple fact of the matter is the politicians don't care if you as a citizen can defend yourself, they really don't care if you die from a home invasion, (they don't live there), they don't care about drive by shootings, (they aren't on those streets).  Gun Control has nothing to do with reducing gun related murders, Chicago has proven that, Gun Control is simply being pushed through because of the wording of the Amendment.

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed"

A "Free State".  It provides the average Citizen the ability to over throw a Government which it determines to be an enemy.  The idea was to place, as the Constitution mandates, the government in the hands of the people, "Of the People, By the people, For the People".

The people running the Country at the time realized that a Government which is not run by the people is an unfair government, It's why we had the Revolutionary War. Any power can become corrupted. What would have happened in 1812 if after the Revolutionary War the Government took away the citizens right to have arms.

Our forefathers  realized that even it's own Government could turn on its people so they placed the words "Shall not be infringed"

It would be absurd to place the power to withdraw a Right of the people to Defend themselves from a Government, or may have to at time overthrow a hostile leadership, with the members of a Government who would be looking out for their own well being and places in positions of power.

A simple look back in history, not every hostile nation, not every dictator lead nation, started out that way.
